Booking Terms and Conditions
A confirmation email will be sent to you and any delegates you may have registered once payment has been received. Payment must be received in full before the event.
►Payment methods and fees
The Festival accepts payment by Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Debit, Delta, Solo and Switch. All bookings are subject to a 4% booking fee. Credit card statements will show that payment has been made to Edinburgh International Television Festival Ltd.
Payment by invoice is available until 1st August 2013 to group bookings (more than 5 delegates) and incurs a 6% booking fee. Please note, we can only invoice UK registered organisations, government bodies and educational institutions.
Payment by international monetary transfer and cheque are available upon request by email.
Registration is complete only when payment is received in full.
►Cancellation and refunds
Individuals have the right to request a refund within seven (7) business days upon payment under EU regulations. After this period, refunds are available up to 30 June 2013 when a request is received in writing to the Festival office. After this date, a no refund policy applies. ALL cancellation requests within the valid time period listed above will incur a 15% administration fee of the booking total. Edinburgh International Television Festival Ltd. will accept transfers if notified in writing up to 14 days before the event. A £50 administration fee will apply, per delegate pass. Transfer requests for discounted rates must adhere to the specific eligibility rules outlined in the rates section. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call +44 (0) 207 278 9515 for transfer requests. Registrations are not transferable to future events.
►Concession rate eligibility
If an application for a concession rate is found to be incorrect or misleading at the time of booking, delegates will be required to pay the full standard registration rate of £625.00 plus UK VAT before accessing the Festival. Details of eligibility can be found in the concessionary rates section.
By submitting your details via the website or registration(s) you acknowledge and agree that GEITF may pass your contact details, and details of all delegates registered by you (whom you confirm have authorised you to register them subject to these terms and conditions), onto carefully selected third parties for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to have your details passed on, please contact email@example.com.
