We are a charity

The Edinburgh International Television Festival is a charitable organisation which runs two talent schemes, The Network and Ones to Watch (formerly known as Fast Track).

These schemes are aimed at helping individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds gain knowledge and experience of the industry, supporting them in the early stages of their career and giving them access to valuable workshops and masterclasses.

10% of your delegate pass goes toward funding these talent schemes, helping over 100 young people each year to get ahead in TV.

The Network and Ones to Watch Committee, chaired by Joe Godwin, Controller of BBC Children’s, oversees the talent schemes and is responsible for keeping them fresh and relevant to the newest entrants to the TV industry.
