The Festival takes place annually in August:

Where does the Edinburgh International TelevisionFestival take place?
The Festival is held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), Morrison Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8EE, UK. Information about the venue can be found on their website.

How much does it cost to attend the Edinburgh International Television Festival?
There are various rates available including discounts for freelancers, charities, universities, individuals under 26, and a select group of membership bases. For full information on rates and booking your pass online please visit Buy a Pass

How do I register/book for the Edinburgh International Television Festival?
Registration for the 2014 Edinburgh International Television Festival will open in February 2014. The online booking system allows you to register yourself and other people. Visit Buy a Pass to book.

When is the last date I can register?
You are able to register for the Edinburgh International Television Festival until 21st August, unless the event sells out beforehand.  If you are paying by invoice please book before 1st August 2014.

Can I buy a day pass?
No, unfortunately we do not offer day passes for the Festival.

I'm having problems with the online registration system. What should I do?
We're sorry that you have experienced problems with our system. Please email us at support@geitf.co.uk or call us on +44 (0) 207 278 9515 and someone will assist you over the phone.

How do I obtain a copy of my VAT receipt?
Please email us at support@geitf.co.uk and we will happily send you a VAT receipt as soon as possible.

I live outside the EU, and want to reclaim my VAT. Can you help?
It may be possible for you to reclaim the VAT on your Festival pass, and related expenses if you live outside the EU. Please contact Tevea International for more information.

I registered for the Edinburgh International Television Festival, but now can't attend. Can I send someone in my place?
Edinburgh International Television Festival Ltd will accept transfers if notified in writing up to 14 days before the event. A £50 administration fee will apply, per delegate pass. Transfer requests for discounted rates must adhere to the specific eligibility rules outlined in the concessionary rates section. Please email us at support@geitf.co.uk or call +44 (0) 207 278 9515 for transfer requests. Registrations are not transferable to future events.

I registered for the Edinburgh International Television Festival, but now can't attend. Can I get a refund?
Individuals have the right to request a refund within seven (7) business days upon payment under EU regulations. After this period, refunds are available up to 1 July 2014 when a request is received in writing to the Festival office. After this date, a no refund policy applies. ALL cancellation requests within the valid time period listed above will incur a 15% administration fee of the booking total. Do I need to bring my badge to social events?
You are required to wear your delegate badge at all Festival social events throughout the weekend.

Can I bring a guest to a social event?
No, unfortunately official Festival social events are only available to paying delegates.
