Why Sponsor GEITF?

The Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival is a non profit-making organisation with charitable status, relying solely on revenue raised from sponsorship and delegate fees.

Sponsorship at the festival goes far beyond typical branding, and can become a valuable extension of the festival offering, through activities such as workshops, networking sessions, quirky branded environments, hospitality, programme launches, premiere screenings and social events.

Sponsors are able to achieve their own unique objectives from their involvement with the Festival, and the Festival team are adept at creating bespoke, integrated sponsorship packages.

The TV Festival has an excellent track record of working with sponsors, from a diverse range of industries including media companies, technology providers, web companies, post-production houses and financial and consultancy firms.

The Festival's on-going success and continued growth as the UK's leading broadcasting industry event is dependent on the much valued commitment and support of our sponsors.

GEITF is also the main source of funding for the charitable initiatives for young people which we produce: The Network and Fast Track schemes. 

 

Who Are Our Delegates?

In 2011, the Festival was attended by over 1,500 delegates, representing the full spectrum of the industry - from chief executives, controllers and commissioners to producers, directors, marketers, writers, new media companies, distributors and press.

We have an extensive international attendance from over 15 countries, including delegates from the USA, the United Arab Emirates, Asia, Australia and throughout Europe.

Over 50% attending are CEOs, Managing Directors, Vice Presidents and Media business owners.

25% are Senior Managers, Head of Departments and Controllers, with the remaining 25% are Managers, Mid Level and Freelancers.
